Mobil 1, the world’s leading synthetic motor oil brand, will have full primary sponsorships on all four Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) premier series cars at various points during the 2018 NASCAR® season.
Sponsoring another winning team in 2018
Mobil 1™, the Official Motor Oil of NASCAR®, will provide full primary sponsorships across SHR’s four NASCAR® premier series drivers at various NASCAR® premier series races throughout the year. This season, race fans should look for full Mobil 1 sponsorships for:
- Kevin Harvick’s No. 4 car
- Aric Almirola’s No. 10 car
- Clint Bowyer’s No. 14 car
- Kurt Busch’s No. 41 car
The Mobil 1 brand will also remain an associate sponsor for all SHR drivers at all other races. Since 2011, ExxonMobil has been providing lubricant technology support to the SHR team, which helped drivers Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick earn premier series championships for SHR in 2011 and 2014.

Tony Stewart, who has represented Mobil 1 since the brand joined SHR in 2011, retired as a NASCAR® driver at the end of the 2016 season. He remains a Mobil 1 brand ambassador in his role as a team owner, as he co-owns SHR with industrialist Gene Haas, founder of Haas Automation. Additionally, the Mobil 1 brand will be an associate sponsor of SHR’s NASCAR® XFINITY Series for the 2018 season, where driver Cole Custer will look to improve upon his successful 2017 campaign.
The Mobil 1 team and SHR: A collaborative effort
After announcing the partnership in 2010, SHR and Mobil 1 engineers began working closely together to tackle racing challenges; the partnership between the Mobil 1 brand and SHR has never been just a logo on a car.

The 2018 season continues a collaborative engineering relationship used to create lubricant packages and push technology limits. This relationship helps the SHR team win races and ExxonMobil improve the quality of Mobil 1™-branded lubricant products with improved fuel mileage, engine efficiency and reliability.

Not including the 2018 season, the partnership with ExxonMobil has led to significant on-track success for SHR, compiling two Sprint Cup titles, 38 race wins, 166 top-five finishes, 318 top-10 finishes and 33 poles
