Mobil 1™ V-Twin 20W-50 synthetic motorcycle oil is formulated to help offer outstanding protection in four-cycle, V-Twin type engines – particularly those that are air-cooled and tend to run hotter than other types of engines.

Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W-50 engine oil is designed to help provide the proper frictional characteristics necessary for wet-clutch common engine/transmission systems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best V-Twin Oil I've Ever Used! I have a 2004 Yamaha Road Star Midnight Silverado XV1700 V-Twin. I had used a couple of other brands (brand "C" and brand "RP"). They did the job, but I wasn't 100% happy with their performance. I use Mobil 1 Extended Life oil in my GMC truck, so I wanted to try Mobil 1 in the bike. I can honestly say that I'm now 100% happy with my oil's performance. On start-up, the engine is quieter. On the road, the engine runs cooler, quieter, and smoother. The transmission shifts smoother, too. Upon changing the oil, I even found the used Mobil 1 to be cleaner than the other brands I'd used when changing them. Overall, this is, in my opinion, the best oil you can use in a V-Twin engine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Run this oil after break-in I changed oil to Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10w40 after the break-in period for my 2004 Honda CBR600RR. I was just out of the driveway when I noticed that the transmission changed dramatically. It shifted so much smoother! Like a blueprinted transmission! That was the first sign of improvement. I rode the bike about 10 miles, then did a high speed run. When I got back to the city, I had to stop at a red light. My engine was idling about 400 rpm higher. Something was wrong! What changed?... THE OIL! I turned the idle screw in and the idle settled down nicely. The oil decreased friction in the engine THAT MUCH! I WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING ELSE in my motorcycle!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Switched to Mobil 1 at first service! I have a 2013 H-D Ultra Classic with the 103 V-Twin and switched to Mobil 1at the first 1000 mile service. I immediately notice a reduction in engine heat in this air cooled motor and also used on the transmission and primary. Neutral has never been easier and the transmission oil looks like it was never used. Mobil 1 is cheap insurance and I like the convenience of using one oil in "all 3 holes". I keep a spare quart on hand though my bike never needs topped off. I'm a believer and my much cooler bike agrees.
